You are so close yet so far away just like the stars in the night sky I can't touch you, I can only see you It's a tease, a hurtful game Please come closer, I want to feel you. "They say that truth will set you free, but then so will a lie. It all depends if you're trying to get to the promised land or just trying to get by." |

Kirah! Nice to see you back. I really love this poem alot!! It's short and simple, but gets the point across perfectly. And it helps that I can really relate. Again, great to see you here. But Im comforted |

All I can say Kirah, is that I hope he appriciates just how much you love him. And I know well the feeling of being so close to someone, yet so far away. I'm there, in a different manner of speaking, right now. Even when I'm in the same room with her, I'm far away. Acting stoic when all I want to do is wrap my arms around her. Just can't seem to find any way to bridge the distance. And to think, one little poem made me come up with all this. BTW. Good luck in NJ! Have fun!
