The Last Night of Nothing Bitter words seep through my veins, Loose vanity slows my breathing to a pulse… A pulse that leaves me gasping again. This crutch won’t last forever Like a leaf's deth... So beautiful just before the greatest fall of all. I’m resting my hand on your stomach again Hoping to feel the battles that rage within, I can hear the screams of emotion even now in the silent hour. Just hold my hand and squeeze when the end is near. I’ll cradle your head on my shoulder, letting you drop Into sleep again. So what’s another night of dreaming? I dunno, that might sound totally stupid, but it really did. This was brilliant. Im adding. Karissa I ask why, but in my mind, |
