I burry myself in the drop One last fall from the top Three drinks down and I find myself One call away from the flop I feel my fortunes fade Living up one more day Three drinks down and i find myself Waking up for one more day Two weeks gone and i'm all alone Just sitting by myself... I yearn for peace everyday "Just one void filled", I pray Three drinks down and i find myself Searching for the right things to say Two weeks gone and i'm all alone Just praying to myself... Just sitting by myself... One tear gone and i'm all alone With nothing else to say... I've got nothing else to say... ______________________________ I wrote these lyrics to a riff ive been throwing around for a few months. Tell me what you think of it from a lyrical perspective. I always have the tune in my head so I have emotion coming from both the words and the music. |

Loved this...can't believe noone else has replied yet. When I read it, I was trying to sing it to my own little tune in my head. I doubt it is similar to the one you have, but I think it sounded nice. I loved this. The words are very powerful. I can only imagine how it sounds with music. Great job...lookin forward to read more from you. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. |
