So pointless it is
All the metaphores adrift
The meanings fall in lines
I see the finish in my mind

So pointless it is
to despair at expense
When another gives solace
By the same feelings expressed

So pointless in is
to repair what's been fixed
Their words move in circles
they all break a stitch

So pointless it is
to write your own story
All the one sided embraces
break free to destroy

So pointless it is...

this sort of sounds like it could be a song.
this part was my favorite:
