I'm worried I'll never see the stars because the city lights... Engulf. I want to lay on the top of our apartment complex in downtown nowhere and stare up at black. City lights make it midafternoon at midnight. I want to be up so high that we are riding on a cloud of neon. I want to see the moon as dim, and the stars as dull. Because the city lights aren't worried about my eyes being fond of gazing. I believe that lovers should be tied together and thrown into the ocean in the worst of weather and left there to drownin their innocence |

I like this poem, it's different from your usual style of writing. And believe it or not, I live in the country with tree nurseries all around, etc. People want to start building house complexes around our houses, which would be like your poem, with all the city lights, etc. Ok, now I'm just rambling, so let me just leave it at I like your poem very much..lol.. ~Alli~ *:.AIM = Alli4000.:* |
