Bright city lights shine above our heads leaving the imprints of diamonds across your face, oh how good you are to me at times as your hands slip around my waist. Cigarette burns and trivial talk we pause to break up the miles between us but the air is bitter and freezes my lungs, and the only love we ever had slips away. If this is how it's meant to be, then look me in the face and tell me tell me how broken your heart is because it's all lies darling, all lies. You touch my hand and I am melting closing my eyes, I dream away you no longer are my hero in disguise but the nightmare that keeps me awake. And as the tears slide down my cheeks, I can't even look at you face to face for you're the trigger that I long to pull and I'm the one carrying the loaded gun. |

this is beautiful... i love how you write down your emotions and can express them so freely.... this is really close to my heart coz im going thru the same sort of thing at the moment and i wish you the best of luck putting the 'loaded gun' down and thinking of only the better times.... will be lookng out for more of your work. Ruth live life as if your going to die tomorow....... but love as if your going to live forever...... |
