The cube this solitary ceiling is pressing low upon me keeping me, sleeping free, here in place no room for movement, the only thing changing is my face im paralyzed, kept rationalized, still running this race. these slow walking walls march to close me in lost in time for the cost of a dime, needing a way to leave the fall of last year left me with intentions to only grieve the things of the past that never quite last, i was once so naive. left to a year full of yearnings that never matured pray to my fears that your words stay in my ears and never fade wallow in tomorrow, maybe hope will save a day left to pain's blade this cube in which i am pressed,is constructed of stress that has stayed now im alone, but not lonely like before |
