I say that I don’t care I don’t care what you say Everything from now on is going to be done My way My way I know what is best for me I don’t need to be watched over I don’t need your guidance Just turn around and walk away Walk away Leave me here In my own despair My own guilt My own grief I don’t want you here I don’t need you Go now Leave Let me be I need to think Your words and thoughts are suffocating me I hear them all in my mind No clarity No sanity No peace of mind Stay away Don’t come near Leave me with my mind My thoughts My feelings My fears Let me take my time And do things my way [This message has been edited by garysgirl (10-27-2003 11:26 PM).] |

I actually wrote this poem when i was upset, when i was going through so much that it seemed to overwhelm me. And having great friends, they all tried to help, but i wanted to be left alone. sometimes all a person needs is to be able to sit be ones self and think over things. I am very gratefull to my friends who where there, waiting to catch me when i fell, VERY thankfull. but during this time, i had that "i can do it all myself" attitude, and some of my other poems tell exactly what happend as a result... " So let us then try to climb the mountain, not by stepping on what is below us, but to pull us up at what is above us, for my part at the stars; amen [This message has been edited by C_ROK06 (10-28-2003 07:56 PM).] |
