you were always such a messy creature, dancing a halo around my cage spun of lucid and the tangible evaded our lullabies where we strewn ourselves peacefully, I dwelt within this wineglass, and you mouthed a word or maybe two, broken apart as your tongue lifted a despairity of hope until it could taste my chardonnay I fed it by the fingerful in exchange for delicacies from a foreign place in possessive shades of white and silver, my lips abhorred and tantalized your spices in linens unmarred by the liquid I sing you brought me heaven in shades of blackberry skin the juice stained deeply, my wrists never healed and the scars of ebony, they spread in between us like eternity imbues without color a fragily sated interim. If I were to touch you, would you bleed a velvet river, running miracles through the sodden ground? --Moi |
