A candle's flame pass the flame unto the next before soft wind tugs to extingsuish drip the wax to seal the deal one that proposes to distinguish something that binds our kinds something to cause simpletons to cry something that causes advancers to wan something that ends, starts down a road to die a beginning to reach a finish is this not what we live for? only now knowing the true results but we still readily step up to pass through the door ignorance places us in our lives arrogance holds us to our place is nothing more pleasurable than not knowing? from birth we continue to ivate empty mental space with the passing of years the candle's wick burns slowly low smoke released to be our actions and effects should we, then, take every action slow? what smolder will we prodice and to what extent? what is the smoke that fills the start and end of candle light? are we made creatures of beginning day or monsters to approach the night? now im alone, but not lonely like before |

Ohhh, I like this one for sure. The simple notion that we continually search for something we may never have nor exist. The last few lines of the poem were the best I have to say. Of course I adore questions that boggle the brain and can't be truely answered. Bravo and bon!! NJS |
