Everyone says, "He was so strong..."
"...Holding on for so Long."
Now he's starring at the ceiling,
He doesn't even know what's going on.
Oblvious to the fact,
He's about to face death.
His son watches "him"
As he Takes his final breath.
These last few months
it spread.
From his head
to his feet,
This thing just couldn't be beat.
Now his family is examining
their choices.
Questioning the whys and hows
buts, and ifs;
Suffering more and more each day...
Why did he try and stay alive?
The doctors didn't lie.
They told him he was going to die.

strong and horribly sad.
the bite of realization, the embaressment of being talked about like a problem.
