Whispers in the wind (A burning fire) Can you see this oil lamp breathe? The burning fule's light inhales and leaves. And the darkness cannot understand the light Because of loving, but hatful couple's strife. As the fertile glow waxes and wanes The shadows grow through dusty window panes. And these starry lights embrace good nights As we close the distance between our eyes. The best impressions last almost forever Still fond in my heart, us, together. This pain in my chest perfects your feelings, Grasping for your hand and quietly pleading, "Not tonight or tomorrow, please take note Of the things mouth has said and hand has wrote." Glance at the lamp in the corner again I whisper softly to put the light to an end. Goodnight my love... |
