Screaming Silence

I introduce you to the real me.....
A mixture of broken promises, lost hopes,
shattered dreams, and jagged things.
A person able to love and able to feel.
A person that will never again be revealed.

Forgotten by those she loved, lost inside her pain.
Inside this person before you,
her hate is all that remains.
A lot like the dead, she's thought of,
but not out loud.
You still wear her essence,
like a widows' burial shroud.

Her love was very real, her pain is very deep.
Her unheard screams still calling in silence for you.
But through your hate her whispered words still can not break through.

A love once so gentle turned into emotions of hostility and violence.
Yet my love for you still screams,
breaking through my silence.

Oh wow...this was amazing. I normally don't come into this forum very often. I always reside in Teen Poetry...but today I felt particularly dark and felt like reading something that would express my mood. This was it...beautifully done. Very nice work. I will definitely be re-visiting this forum and reading some more of your work...Very nice. Absolutely beautiful.
