You are colder than the Devil’s heart, The heaven’s threw trident’s down from the sky, And everyone thought it was the end of tomorrow, The rebirth of yesterday, I took your palm in mine out of habit, And ushered you away from the fierce wind exposure, Even though I knew you were already frostbitten to the bone, Then you took me by surprise, And you started melting, Or was it I who was melting? Melting in your chocolate brown irises, You held my gaze for a second more, Then pressed your warm pink lips to mine, I never felt the same again, Even though you tensed again, And returned to your frozen state, The frozen blade, Freezing in the empty refrigerator, Because when I thrust it into my chest, My heart will be as cold as yours will, And then we will have something in common. "Why are my visions so unliving with dreams? And why do I no longer care?" - Stygian |
