I have no words for you. None. This day always came and went In a pink and lace charade. A pathetic pantomime Where all laughed ~ but me. Well, this time there’s no guilt. You’re gone. Your flowers wilted long ago Like each bud you ever picked To soon to let it blossom. I can’t help but wonder, Could you, did you ever love me? Always that single tear escapes Tormenting me, As under my breath, I choke a whisper of, Happy Father’s Day. ~*~ "Start where you want to finish!" |

I have no words for you. None. This day always came and went In a pink and lace charade. A pathetic pantomime Where all laughed ~ but me. =========================== *heavy sigh* ... ... ... ... ... I'll never understand or accept why children must carry the burdens that belong to the adults... it was never your guilt, but I so understand the whys that the child feels this way, and I know, you know it now too. I'm glad your giving it back, this write shows the strength that comes from healing and leaving things behind. heart-hugs to you dear Sharon. People come & go in our lives but the memories & poetry remain... |

Sharon You know how much I understand this, dear friend. May I offer this to you, as you have offered so much to me? Any time if you need to talk, I'll listen. |

This is my gift for all the Fathers out there that don't even deserve a card on Sunday. As a child you are told to respect your elders, so you do it even if they don't deserve it. What ever happened that those "Fathers" were not taught to respect their own child? |
