Contrite apology,
You know I’m talking to you,
Listen, Consider, Observe, and Regard.
Let us bury the hatchet,
Forget the words I’ve spoken,
I know you won’t,
But I have to try.

Sorry,
Making amends,
You know I’m talking to you,
Healing the wounds without permission,
If you want to keep this rift,
Between us and let it slaughter,
What we once had,
Then I’ll walk away.

Sorry,
Forgive me,
You know I’m talking to you,
Turn your back on what we had,
Or simply lose the will to fight,
I was honest then and still am,
But now I will forget,
If you do.

hey that works. I wrote something like this...I know, sometimes sorry doesn't seem like enough and it hurts...but it's good that you can work with the words you have. good write... (and btw, i'm glad you two worked it out
