Yesterday I tossed away a paper doily that I'd owned. Today I took the time to think why such a thing would be a chore. But yes, she did weigh heavily-- I held her to her promise--kept. I kept her bones beg burial and yellow time was all she wore. Yesterday I tossed away a cozy catcher of the dust. Today I smile-- considering... I guess tomorrow I'll buy more. |
