I hear you breathe
1400 miles away
and I can feel your
kiss on my lips
just as this
water
burns my mouth
I'd hope that you could
bare with me
while I get over
this new awakening
that you've cast on me
but I've already figured you out
and your words stain my screen
with love as well as
deception
maybe when we share our first
walk under the stars
and 6 hour conversation
together
we can finally
rid ourselves of this
agonizing doubt
and we will finally know
what was really meant to be.

Next month I'm finally going to Kansas to meet my best friend of 6 years and I'm scared that it's not going to be all that we imagined.
