~A Tempoary Truce From The Army CFIDS~ The enemy is invading bombarding me with all it’s got yet I do not bleed. Talking is hard throat swollen the color of a rose growing in my garden back home. Skin being blasted by the sand I think it will drive me mad the itching the scratching scratching itching . . . Mussels die joints swell eyelids inflate as the heat rises water I need water everything becomes and effort. Tired yes so tired feel’s like I haven’t slept forever. Hard to think to comprehend I hear there voices in my head they use to tell me that dying was better then this I know now that was a lie. My body is attacking it’s self there is no cure so what no big deal anymore “This too shall pass” tomorrow is another day and maybe just maybe I’ll awake to find a white flag blowing free in the fresh air over the battlefield a temporary truce having been called. Temporary is all “we” can hope for. MS-B 9/03 "Well I know, these voices must be my soul." -Dave Matthews- |

The visage of Hell is so personal. But I like to think if we look beyond the obvious, it is applicable to all the torments of human nature. (The only thing you left out here was those damned parasitic bugs that lay their eggs inside of you---pussing up to reveal a newborn--WEEKS later.) Thank you for the read. |
