I think my title sucks - any suggestions? Life A baby - so pure, naïve, and innocent, No knowledge of the life to live ahead. At first so helpless, secure from life, Lifts, then crawls, and stands with might. Experience befalls and changes the child, Immortality mutates the meek and mild. The baby grows and learns at a faster pace, By design is obliged to join life's arduous race. The child, now grown, is faced with fear, Life's doubt and hatred, filled with despair. No longer easy as the challenges come, The sins of life are too easily won. This human being struggles on the way, To stand through life's turmoil, day after day. The sins become larger, the fight more grim, Now crawling, this creature will never win. Forever beaten down and torn apart, The poor soul lies down with a broken heart. |

I think the title is perfect for it. |
