My life in thine shadows I long to evade

I, have not deceived you for so long in time

For why have there been such a dark spell cast upon me?

For thine eyes to see with such greatness or obseen?

I long to hear your voice in my ear

Saying such sweet words I once thought long ago

To be able to sense that you are near me once again

With passion, to breathe, to think, to see

A love I once had, fell upon me

A hatred so strong that not even love can endure

The songs I used to sing, at a time I was so sure

To hear the sounds just ringing in my head

But ever so sosftly, almost as if dead

For these shadows I seem to walk upon

For the longest time, I just wish to evade

To reach out, and to finally touch you

To hear you voice, thats ever so true

A time when I would shine in the light

A light that was clear, ever so bright

To live in my own words and not the past

My life in thine shadows, I long to evade at last

This poem is about pretty much summing up my life that I do need to move on and make big and better things with my life. I hope someone out there likes it!!!

Drained from emotion
she waits till death grasps her.
She faces it with no fear but rather welcomes it.
