hush little baby don't say a word wings torn from your back like a helpless little bird little bird dare you sing if you say a word your neck they'll rig brass shackles cut into your wrists chained to a past you wish to forget looking at your reflection in the broken glass can't catch your breath you choke you gasp as they lay you down you cringe you weep your heart your soul your flesh they reap longing to die before you wake another breath your forced to take |
