Demon of a Dream

this is my second one... hope you all would like this one as well...

DEMONS OF A DREAM

Walking on an empty street
thinking what could've happened
made me to think
could this be the awful end?
Everything doesn't just feel good
darkness can swallow me whole
with the strange silence
as if my spirit it suddenly stole
I open my mouth to speak
no words came out unexpectedly
my scream is of no use
this is some damn nightmare for me
the sun just suddenly left
but I noticed some scary shadows
both my voice and muscles weakened
imaginations of some scary gallows
I closed my eyes and heard my heartbeat
with the wind making some weird sound
this is some nightmare that I can't stand
can't walk some more steps, weakening on the ground
there they are, the shadows again
making some more noises
I can barely hear and understand
sounding like whispering voices
I tried just to ignore them
but I'm hearing harsh words that they've set
pointing fingers at me now
a stunned feeling of hurt is what I get
but I made sure their words won't hurt deep
just let them all be as I started to bleed
I can't please all people I'd say
but faith and confidence is all I need
I will fight all these demons
who are trying to pull me down
I will never let myself fall
I'll stand firm with my feet both on the ground.
