rivers long wept run through my heart, cutting out its initials with every barier broken; and the child inside me can't help but drown, lost in the murky depths of others' insults and lies, every mark torn and scratched into flesh the one who has failed everyone that matters, and it is felt like an open wound, born to forever bleed, just like how the water continuous flow until it reaches the safety of the ocean. the bandages are hard to hide underneath this fragile body yet showing them means to degrade myself, to be like the rocks that sink to the bottom when you toss them into the depths. its just another knot to hide. when will i ever reach my ocean? |

Lost Angel.... is there another name I can refer to you as? or would that suffice? Beautifully written.... from the soul... I've been there and hate that anyone has to be there. I hope that is from another time and not now. I love your words, doll Our scars are the foundation for what we have become |
