Searching… for something that may never be found without knowing what for in hopes that may deceive for anything that will help me Lost to the world at all times Searching for something that may never be mine Always hoping to find something real Just falling farther into the darkness Constantly surrounded by family and friends Who’s thoughts and concerns matter not in the end Losing myself all the time Says the scattered pieces of my mind Never known as who you really are Not even knowing for yourself Hoping that eventually you will find out Doubting the possibility of it at the same time Just praying for it to soothe my mind Still searching all the time Hoping one day to find something more Hoping that beyond all this nonsense there will be anything worth this thought Never believing it for more than a moment Hope remains buried in the shadows Despite all that is dreaded in this life Constantly screaming in the mind Falling apart everyday Yet even still I continue to pray Hoping eventually this will all be worth it This depression seems endless and gets worse all the time With all the bad in the world there seems like no space For anything good to be left at all Everything that is left seems corrupted and evil Especially this poem that I write with a demon The continuous searching seems meaningless now Covered in darkness all around There is no light that will ever be found |

Hi Mike - It's nice to see you back. I'm betting you've changed a bit since this photo, eh? Did you know that this forum exists because your dad said we really needed it? Your work is very good, as is his - Shining through Darkness, as he'd say. Bring us more, could you please? |

This was very well written and I think we all can relate as we have all been somewhere close to this at some point in our lives. Shan |
