Falling Rain

The rain pounded against the window,
Mad at and trying to shatter the glass.
As I walked closer I saw the raindrops,
And then the eyes stared at me with blackened hearts.

I started to run with fear for my life…
But everywhere I turned I came across,
Those tiny little raindrops piercing my soul
And cursing at my choices.

The raindrops are hurting me,
My arms have gone numb and I am
Still not going to budge.
They will not shut me up.

My life is starting to be a living Hell,
All because the rain is killing me.
The light has come and I’m taking His had,
And now I’m in heaven because of the masochistic rain.
