What lies beyond the war. Lies the heart of a poor soul Deep in the ground. Dead cold. Memories well forgot. Beaten down so many times. Never to beat again Lays this cold, worn heart Will it beat again? Maybe soon. Maybe never... Here lies my broken, worn heart. Never to beat again in the cold ground of my body. Above all the pain and scars of the Earth The sunshines warm. Comfort lies in the skies of hope and freedom Will this heart beat again.. No one knows ~Zach~ |
