The life of a teenager is difficult They make mistakes, go through problems and deal with so many different encounters In high school it can be very hard Several are still trying to figure out who they are Theres the jocks and the cheerleaders The punks and the skaters, the stuck ups, the haters Then theres those who serveral don't know about Think its easy trying to figure them out? Of course its not, but we still try Teenagers go through several things- Puberty, relationships, emotions they never knew trying their best, making mistakes, to name a few They want to fit in, they want to feel welcome Theres several things they don't tell you, and why? Some never know? Maybe its because there afraid? They don't tell you because its not cool You can't be around there friends, because you're a fool The life of a teenager can be very depressing If you don't think so parents, just try to ask them The life of a teenager has its ups and downs The life of a teenager can't be seen all around So the next time when you want to "talk" Be careful how you say it, or approach them You don't want to lose your child Just think back to when you were younger How did you feel, did you want to talk to your parents Just remember the life of a teenager, you'll never forget it Kate |

Very, very true. I liked it a lot. "Theres several things they don't tell you, and why? Some never know?" I find this to be the chord that struck me the most, as it feels like this same question played out through my mind when I was in the situation. I enjoyed it ^^, keep it up! |

You are so right, v2bh, the teenage years are a very tender age. This is the stressful time when there are way too many things to figure out. I haven't forgotten, and I still struggle with certain issues, even though I'm old enough to have a 13-year-old granddaughter. I really appreciate your poem. Well expressed. ~K |
