* This poem is right out of my head hope you like it*

The waiting past has come today

To forget my dreams from yesterday

To move along above and beyond

To let out my voice thats been in for so long

I live and wait just to see your face

The thoughts of redemption, I have no place

For its in my heart you deeply lie

The song once heard, a lullaby

The breath you took, when I looked in your eyes

The tears that came, I started to cry

I'm so confused and feel all alone

Will I ever find a place I can call home

You kept me awake, you kept me there

Now everywhere I turn I'm followed by a stare

To hear your voice, the slightest song

That was once heard, now gone

I'm getting older and I have to understand

I have to do this on my own, take a stand

Now that you're gona and I'm still here

I will live for today and not in fear

For a few last words that has to be said

I love you, my life, and my words in my head

All I want is a chance to be heard

and now that you hear me, its your turn

This poem literally was out of the top of my head just made it up as I went along I hope someone enjoys this one I actually did. Really I guess just what I have to say

In line 20 its suppose to say "gone" I'm so sorry, but hope you enjoy!

You did a good job Kate, I enjoyed it very much, don't beat yourself up OK? if you like it & are happy with it, that will encourage you to write more as I hope will the response you deserve and get....
