Someone told me to be better

Someone told me to make it last forever

I tried to tell them how I felt

but it seemed that they wanted to be everywhere else

I take advice thats been given to me

although theres been many times when I'd never see

I try and try but it never ends

the thoughts that I have a long lost friend

the pain inside noone else feels

and I ask myself is this even real?

to live today and die tomorrow

why is it I've been living my life in sorrow

when you hear people ask for one more dance

do you give it to them another chance?

I'm sorry for all the things I've done

I guess I was to late to put you number one

and as I try my hardest to say my goodbyes

one last look as the tears fall from my eyes

Yes, trying your best is the best and is the best. As my sisters says "trying your best is the best thing that can happen" I know it doesn't make much scense but i go by it. I love this poem. I love all your poems.
