Flipping through the images of the sexiest
Men over 50, there wasn’t one that captured
My fancy until I came to Baryshnikov.
Though I've watched him dance a thousand times
In a hundred youthful roles, nothing but
His leaps and fancy footwork ever stole
My breath away. But now that time has slowed
His dancer’s step and carved the hollows deeper
Beneath his brow and Slavic cheekbones,
I’m drawn again to shadows that left me breathless
under your dark and brooding Russian spell.
