Laying on the grass
starring up,
nothing but cloudy sky
As the hursh wind passes by.
The war goes on and the barbwire goes up
as it separates the two towns.
My loved one on one side while I'm on the other.
As he run to see me
a shot in the air,he drops to the ground
he stares at me and than his eyes go blank.
The rain starts to drop everyone goes home
I climb to the fence tears ripping my face
not caring if I'm bleeding
I run to him "SAM,SAM"nothing but the roaring rain whispers back.
I lay on the ground letting the rain wash me down
As I cried and cried everything in me, nothing was lift but complete hollowness.
