If you decide, then how will the stars decide? What stars will be left? The night - so cold, so quiet, head down, you’ve decided, and I’ve awarded you that. I always award you that. I award you a star! A Gold star! You’re pinned. And I’m pinned down. Held down. You’re lit up. High up. I’m staring up, and blind and fading, its dark. But its hot and its cold, and oh so richly black. And you, You’re golden – the ultimate author. |
