We just can’t handle the simple truth, Everyone’s always looking for proof, Life is full of hatred, jealousy and crime, We try and block it out all the time, Thinking it will simply go away, But it’s still here each passing day, Then we start looking for love, peace, and happiness, The things we see less and less, But we just can’t find it anywhere, So we slide into a void of despair, some turn to drugs and their failure is evident, And their hopes leave them all battered and bent, Then the lucky few that survive this life, Laugh at us who want to end this strife. ~fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me~ |

How could you! (glares at Twilight Warrior) I wanted to be first!!! Oh well...(hugs Warrior)I'm better now. Somehow you always write the right thing at the right time hunnie. I can always relate to what you write. Life is full of hatred, jealousy and crime, We try and block it out all the time, Thinking it will simply go away, But it’s still here each passing day, ~fav part~ Wonderful!!!
