The war for my soul The prophecies against my life The expert council that quotes, "God will leave you dry" Jesus, you would go as far as dying for me Since I told you 'thank you' You seem to have forgotten me. You know without doubt I'm here I am relevant but my pool of life is empty Your promises and you act like I'm nothing I'm nothing compared to you If I can do all things through Christ, Where are you? Why do thieves steal from me? Why does life leave me? Why is it empty? Where are you? Why is my own blood flow a mere decoration? Why are the dark clouds of promise empty? Why is the wall before me? Under your guidance Should you tell the Children of Israel "Go back to Egypt and die in hope." If I'm blind, make me see, heal my eyes Remove my veil let the light show Why do people lie to me and mock me I pray you'll remember me I pray the liars forget to lie The promisedland must have more than this Instead of rocks and dirt where is the milk and honey I pray inplace of accusations, You would reveal what a dirty woman justice has become I'm sorry for my iniquities just to be happy... |
