I don't care what you say
All my dreams have gone away
I don't live for your words
I live to see the dark death birds

I never felt a single wing
as the passing bats did sing
Or dreamed of visions past
In black endless, heartless cast

I never did these things
For gold or diamond rings
I did them for the one
those that have been and gone

To take a lot of pain,
take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud,
holds a lot of rain
