If I could do anything I wanted
I would never let myself be haunted
Never feel pain or regret
Tears would never fall and I’d never get upset
If I could do anything I wanted...

I wouldn’t let go of my feelings
Wouldn’t let the fire like fury eat me inside
Never in anyone would I ever confide
I would hold it all back even when taunted
If I could do anything I wanted...

I would forget about everyone and leave them in the dust
I would allow my heart to grow cold and rust
Never give in cause I had no place to go
I would freeze forever in a lifeless world surrounded by snow
If I could do anything I wanted...

I know exactly how you feel or rather you have written what I feel.

I love the comfort in being sad. A great read and one for my library.
