Cut them out with children's scissors
two by two dimensional figures,
paper dolls with vellum heads
parroting false prophets.

Drab with thoughts as dull as rags,
shuffling behind their monthly quotas,
woolly lambs gathering new sheep, shun
the banished goats of door to door.

An endless line of cookie cuttered
proselytizing witnesses. Kangaroos
with pouches full of prophecies
that dissolve in holy water.
