As I awaken I find you are not here Looking toward the terrace, there you are in a trance, a deep deep stare A creature of the night you are, but with you I feel no fear Knowing very well what you are, but for the sake of love, I don't really care, Do I dare open my heart to the darkness of night? Can I comftorably admit to myself, that I love something from the realm of the damned? When I am with you I should feel intense fright But instead I am filled with love and I feel your gentleness that is as meek as a lamb. Do I dare mettle in things I am not sure of? Do I have the right to love you, you from the realm of the undead? Will my soul be condemned to hell, and never go to heaven up above? All these questions are within my head. On the terrace I fall into your arms Loving you, wanting you, forever I want you to stay, my love Loving you so I would challenge the devil him self and all his untrue charms Loving you so, I wish I had the courage and strength to release your tormented soul. All the joy, ecstasy, and love you have brought to me Do I dare question why I was the one chosen by you? Others will condemn me because of my love for you but I don't care, see By your side I will always be with a love that is so true. |

I get the questioning of a significant other's faults and the difficulty of loving someone who others may deem unworthy for you. You use a unique style which may still be refined to be more concise. Nontheless, you leave me fascinated and sympathetic. Burnt Siena |
