Today will be the day I'll forget my fear of laughter and scorn I'll rise above consern And I'll shout, to world What I think. And so I open my mouth I am not afaid but nothing comes out? This fear that controls me I'll beat it down! Or so I say, day after day but Im too weak. No, I am strong Thats what I tell myself This time I wont back down! Ya right, Come on stop telling yourself lies that you only half believe Cant you even think truth Your a coward Come on cant you fight? Your just a coward! |

Smiling here. I wrote one a couple of years ago 'cowards like me' but I am not a coward, and neither are you, as it's a brave move to post the poetry of your heart on the internet! |

Hey lokiwolf, I loved this poem by you because I can relate so well to it! I tell myself that I’m a coward all the time that I’ll beat down the fear and be able to make the stand and yet I can’t… I think you described the emotions in this just right, yet all the while having this poem be sort of unique. You talking to you about you, very cool. “ This fear that controls me I'll beat it down! Or so I say, day after day but Im too weak. Ya right, Come on stop telling yourself lies that you only half believe” This is my favorite part I believe, I love how it’s you talking to you, arguing with yourself, contradicting yourself, cause I do that all the time… it’s very cool to see that I’m not the only one out there that talks to themselves… lol Great write by you, I can’t wait to see more of yours in the near future  @-->--- |
