Awaiting the Anger Rushing through your veins This inevitable anger It cannot be ignored It cannot be erased For it always and forever will be there You try to relax Breathe Slowly, in and out Rasping breaths enter your being Slowly, in and out But to no avail Anger as such cannot easily be avoided You don’t know when it started All there is to know is the feeling The surge of adrenaline when you feel invincible As if your emotion is strong enough to topple the world Wishing nothing more than to destroy your target Forsaking the outcome, the result All there is is the blinding heat Heat from your hellish thoughts Thoughts not fit for you Thoughts completely alien from your nature Thoughts of a demon You know what will happen if it doesn’t stop You want it so bad but know you mustn’t The temptation is always there, though In your reach, yet you’re unsure Your discipline stretched to its limits as you abstain from your desire Your hands itching and feet ready for flight Your mind racing for a solution There is only one way to end the anger One solution that comes to mind The ultimate solution Then the annoying voice comes Stubbornly calming you Making you aware of yourself and your thoughts Prying you from your plot Your scheme, your solution It brings you back to your stability Your eyes shut to prevent tears of anguish and longing from escaping Your head bows, allowing unwished-for submission to consume you But the flare is always there Awaiting the right provocation Awaiting the anger Poetry is written emotion |

Yeah, poetry is written emotion. LIke a verbal photograph of any given instance of feeling. Its sorta like a volcano. Always ready to explode... God bless, In Christ, -Craig Jesus |
