I have seen wolves flock, Share each others food, whisking the desert heat away. Stars corresponding through each comet’s flight, As the fire that defines me, Always finds breakdowns within each vowel, Never discouraged, always fighting. The girl is never just a girl, Never the back of ones head, Nor the echo of tears on each Kleenex sheet. Never are there tears, only dreams. The nights descend slowly. Lights dim, footsteps roam, Days of March were never so poignant. The path we ask for, Blood is given, For one memorable night. The night I met my wisdom. |

I don't comment much in the dark poetry section, for my own reasons, but I like this one a great deal. I have to ask, is this a reflection of your first time? |

i rather like the beginning of this one it has strong images, it seems to lose some of the strength as it goes on, but not much. |
