Sometimes I just walk these city streets And I never really feel too good Maybe something had to happen here And I never really felt so gone This is just a bitter end All this lashing will never mend This isn’t real Because I can feel And this is not real I shouldn’t feel anything Sometimes I just bleed this towers walls And I never really felt so understood Maybe something is just better than nothing And I never really heard your voice This is just a bitter taste All this thrashing will not ease it This isn’t real Because I can touch And this is not real I shouldn’t touch anything You never got a reason Because I never let you have one And a man cannot stand Should he happen to be boneless All the plastic to exist Couldn’t fix the gunshot wound A face is just a place A face is just a place And his blood now Remains departed space The noose doesn’t Pull itself tight Just one tiny part Put up a fight Deconstruction is just a word Deconstruction is just a word It’s what it takes to deconstruct That is the deadly sword Sometimes I just walk these city streets |
