~Love~ Here I lay smiling thinking of my love It’s been so long since I had this feeling It’s been a mighty long time since I laid eyes upon you I’m going to hold you and make you mine This is a chance I can’t walk away from Our love for each other is too strong Yet, we stand here without knowing We are madly in love with each other The kind of love where you can’t eat Can’t sleep can’t breathe I have to have you for myself No matter how old or how young we appear Boy I don’t what to say When I’m around you I can do wrong A whisper in time No matter what race we are I know we are in love I’m in love with a man nearly twice my age And all I want to know Is are you capable of handling my love Because it needs care like a plant Its needs to be feed and cherished The same way I cherish you You’re my little Achilles I’m your Parsees |
