Childhood is the springtime, Vibrant, full of joy, Swimming pools and sno-cones, Eyes sparkle at new toys. Learning how to read and write, Always asking why, Wishing we were older, This knowledge to apply. College days we contemplate, Where does the path begin? The road to our security, What must we do to win? Four bedroom house and picket fence, Things to show our place, Put the wheels in motion, And then begin the race. For 30 years we have the choice, To show the world we're here, Giving everything we've got, Making objectives clear. Living through the terms of life, Helping those in need, Reaching out to others, To maybe plant a seed. In time we reach our golden years, Reflecting days gone by, Hindsight twenty twenty, On things we didn't try. Our memories are precious, About the way we lived, Having everything we need, But how much did we give? |

this is wonderful Matt. life is so much more than what we take with us, it is more what we leave behind that counts. Annie there is but a short time to exist, love, laugh, live and never stop believing in miracles |
