i stood there in the rain, knife in hand drunk waiting for the cops to come my car face down in a ditch my friends worried about what i'd do next i wanted to hide in the bushes from the imminent dui charge and the time in prison i wanted to sit there in the swamp and open arteries i was tired of it all and the knife was very sharp i was willing at that moment, i was a severely dangerous person it was a horrifying night yet, by some miracle the tow truck came before the cops ever did pulled my broken car from the putrid waters and took me and my drunken buddies home one month later my car is fixed insurance never found out and my life is the same it has always been i will never drink and drive again i learned a bitter lesson about myself i dont deserve it, but someone is watching out for me someone who wants to see me succeed in life and be happy i dont want to die i like living i dont want to die just yet thank you, whoever you are |

i learned a lesson like this almost a year ago...there are guardian angels out there and life is very precious. Don't ever think someone doesn't care. Annie there is but a short time to exist, love,laugh,live and never stop believing in miracles |

Before anyone can really care about you, you have to care for yourself. I haven't had a drink in over six years and don't miss it at all. I think I'm a better person for it and I know that you can be also.Life is too short to have it ruined by self ingested poison. I also know that you have become a better person because of this experience by your willingness to share it. Thank you. |
