cold wet lies spitting torrentially from her lips everythings alright everythings okay pulling her jacket around her tight successful attempt at a convincing smile everythings alright everythings okay she walks away leaving it all behind everythings alright everythings okay her hands slipping from the greasy bottle in her hand she starts to run everythings alright everythings okay tears blinding her vision shaking off the broken high heels from her feet everythings alright everythings okay sand beneathe her bare icy feet slipping sneakily between her toes everythings alright everythings okay the deafening boom of the oceans tongue icy but inviting water licking her legs as she enters everythings alright everythings okay eyes closed peacefully ears unaccustomed to the deathly silence everythings alright everythings okay a real smile now, reaching her eyes body shuddering with an involuntary wish everythings alright everythings okay can you find me space inside your bleeding heart? |

Ah beautiful. Like midnight and like cold. In extremis uber awesome. I really like this one, it's not trying to be dark it just is and it's sad. So happy to be reading from you again. brilliant. as soon as i come here and read all these amazing poems my own friends have written i just feel so ugh inspired!!! i loved this nirvana means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world. |
