You lie, suspended. Enduring foul wind. Ancient, yet bursting. A garden borne, torn between good and evil. The towers two. Your final resting place. A refuge, from the stink and rot of the Dark Lord. Thickets of bay trees, groves and glades, give birth, to the deafened descendents from the age of Man. Redolent brambles of rose creep among stone basin, interlocking thyme with deep tapestry. Hiding bones by rocky wall and stonecrop. Look to the mossy covered stone lipped hollow, my oasis, where the streams fall beyond to Anduin. Amidst the enemy, your beauty endures. _________________________________ *bowing to Tolkien* |

Wow, I loved the imagery. A picture is worth a thousand words, so please write about it. Beautiful. I think the feeling of just tried to latch on to me though... Truly some kind of Garden. -GIS Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purposes |

Thanks guys, I am still mesmerized myself by the book I read so long ago, still trying to put all of that into words. I am glad you guys like, I am hoping I serve his words justice attempting to explain them in my own, what i saw, felt and heard. Kacy - *smile* my favorite stanza Craig, if you felt something from this, then my work is done. Sharon, Nifty, sheesh now I will be SAYING that - bad enough I say Neato! Thanks guys, much appreciated. |

Hugs to you for a wonderful journey |

Aye, "amidst the enemy, your beauty endures" As Tolkien well knows, even castles have ethereal essence. Love the dreamer in you. Billy 8) [This message has been edited by coyote (09-16-2005 08:58 PM).] |
