So much power And love Each and every step you struggle Will I fall? Will I die? Can I succeed? Will these loose parts ever connect? I can almost taste her love Feel the electricity in my axe The thicker strings, with a raw touch An unformed human hand Making such beautiful music Music only faith can make This promiseland of dreams But can statues move? Can they walk to a different location? Can they show you a sign of gratitude? What about a castle? The castle of a king adored by creation With statues in his honor A castle made of bricks, steel, stained glass One brick sits on top of another And side by side If one left there would be a small hole If others followed, there would be a larger hole A pile of rubble on the ground And other bricks would replace them These bricks would loose their place of honor The mass of them makes a grand display Each one insecure, but heroic They will never leave their place Could be a form of torture Could be honor Only remembering what they are Just another brick in the wall Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purposes |
