cereal bowls
and happy hearts
baby clothes
and shopping carts
mothers fears
and childs tears
this is where it all starts

broken smiles
and torn souls
traveled miles
and empty bowls
mothers cries
and daughters lies
left wondering where it all goes

hormones rageing
wrecked cars
weekly ageing
skin-deep scars
daughter pouts
and mother shouts
behing the cold steal bars

hospital stays
dont make a sound
numbered days
her soul is found
daughter cries
and mother lies
six feet in the ground

I ask why, but in my mind,
I find i cant really rely on myself.
